Zamil Steel signs strategic alliance agreement with Severfield-Rowen Group

Zamil Steel Industries, a sector business of Zamil Industrial Investment Company (Zamil Industrial), announced today that the company has signed a Strategic Alliance Agreement with Severfield-Rowen Plc of the United Kingdom, a leading international group in the field of specialized steel structures, to provide enhanced structural steelwork Design, Fabrication and Erection capability to clients in Saudi Arabia, the wider Middle East and North Africa.The focus of the collaboration will be projects with a high engineering content, such as stadiums, high-rise buildings, airports, power plants and transport infrastructure. Severfield-Rowen will operate in conjunction with Zamil Steel in Dammam, where several key Severfield-Rowen management resources will be located.
Severfield-Rowen maintains the largest facility for the manufacture of structural steel in the UK. The group is composed of six leading companies in the field of design, engineering, manufacturing and installation of specialized steel structures such as: airport lounges, train stations, stadiums, museums, bridges with various architectural forms, and universities and hospitals.
"This agreement is the result of ongoing collaboration between Zamil Steel and leading international companies to execute steel structures and buildings projects in the region. It is also a distinctive addition to Zamil Steel's capabilities in the design, manufacture and installation of mega-projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, GCC States and the Middle East," said Adnan Al-Mansour, President of Zamil Steel.

This alliance will provide further enhanced benefits to clients and support the development of both companies in the growing markets of the Middle East and North Africa.
