Zamil Steel Industries, a sector business of Zamil Industrial, recently participated in the 6th Doha Conference on Natural Gas (DCNG), held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, from 29 October to 1 November 2007 at the Qatar International Exhibition Center in Doha.

This year's energy exhibition and conference, jointly organized by Qatar Expo in association with Qatar Petroleum, was the largest DCNG ever, occupying 10,000 square meters of space across 6 halls. More than 100 exhibitors from over 20 countries participated, representing at least 17 different sectors of the oil and gas industry.

The four-day conference attracted key industry leaders from the region and from around the world by offering an environment conducive to the development of professional and business relationships. Key players in the energy industry availed themselves of the opportunity to build reliable and profitable strategic alliances, and to learn more about the latest trends at work in the market.

"The 6th Doha Conference on Natural Gas provided an excellent opportunity for Zamil Steel Pre-Engineered Building and Structural Steel Divisions to showcase their latest products and solutions, as well as to strengthen relationships with some of our past customers and contractors. The event allowed us to present our updated, value-added strength in terms of capabilities, infrastructure and technology, which will ultimately result in new and renewed strategic business alliances for our company." Says Hatem Turki, Marketing Manager, Zamil Steel PEB Division

Representatives from major multinational energy sector companies and industry publications, as well as government officials, traders, suppliers and manufacturers, consumers and technical consulting experts converged in the comfort of the new Qatar International Exhibition Centre to debate, discuss and evaluate current challenges and future prospects for the industry. Conference delegates and exhibitors comprised the top echelon of the most important energy producers, customers and experts from within the region and around the world.

The exhibition held in tandem with the conference provided a convenient and unique chance for foreign businessmen and investors to learn more about the expansive nature of Zamil Steel technologies, and the company's recent developments within the GCC region and around the world.

"Zamil Steel exhibit areas enjoyed the visits of large numbers of representatives and consultants from various prestigious global companies, and we look forward to concluding business transactions with these new partners," Hatem added.
