Zamil Industries board endorse several expansionary resolutions

Zamil Industrial Investment Company Board of Directors met on Saturday 17 September 2005 in the company headquarters in Dammam to discuss the meeting agenda. In light of the company's ambitious strategy to seek potential growth in its existing and prospective local and regional markets; and meeting the high demand on the company's different products that its three manufacturing facilities (Zamil Steel, Zamil Air Conditioners and Zamil Glass) produce; and backed by a strong and flourishing national economy; the Board has resolved the following:
Firstly: Double the production capacity of Zamil Air Conditioners' Unitary & Applied products (Packaged Units, Air Handling Units and Chillers) through the establishing of a new state-of-the-art factory.
Secondly: Establish a full scale Pre Engineered Buildings fabrication plant in United Arab Emirates with an overall production capacity reaching 25,000 metric tons annually.
Thirdly: Expand the manufacturing facility of Zamil Steel's Structural Steel Business Unit to a combined annual capacity of 72,000 metric tons by adding two new state-of-the-art production lines with a total production capacity of 30,000 metric tons annually.
