Zamil Steel Industries participates in PetroTech 2003 - Bahrain

Zamil Steel, represented by both its Pre-Engineered Buildings and Structural Steel Divisions has participated in PetroTech 2003, the 4th Middle East Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition and Conference, which was held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Bahrain International Exhibition Centre from 29 September ' 1 October, 2003.

Numerous attendees at the exhibition and conference included oil companies, refineries, and petrochemical plants, among others, and the event provided an ideal venue for Zamil Steel to showcase its solutions for the global construction industry in general, and the petrochemical industry in particular.

'The growing refining activity in the region contributed to another successful PetroTech event, which also provided great opportunities for us to highlight our leading solutions that satisfy the construction demands of the petrochemical industry,' said Hussam Al-Naji, Area Manager, Zamil Steel stationed in Bahrain.

Zamil Steel is one the major providers of steel structures to the oil and petrochemical industries in the region. The company has a combined output capacity of more than 9,000 metric tonnes of fabricated steel per month making it by far the largest in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

'This is a key market sector for Zamil Steel. We have been supplying all types of buildings and structures to this industry for over 25 years,' said Mr Al-Naji. 'These structures range from simple box-shaped steel warehouses to highly complex refineries and gas plants.'
