Zamil Steel Conducts Training Sessions to Benefit
Certified Builders and Company-wide Delivery System
Zamil Steel Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB-GCC) Division and its project management department have announced completion of the company's second builder training session. The nine-day training program, launched on 11 December 2010 in Dammam, was conducted to educate Certified Builders in all aspects of pre-engineered steel buildings and to enable Zamil Steel PEB Saudi to maintain its high quality of deliverables and to provide total building solutions to the company's valued clients.
The builder training program covered the most up-to-date erection technologies with regard to all building components, included live examples from previously executed projects, as well as project documentation. Seminars in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, Safety, and Onsite Application of Engineering Documents as well as information about general concepts of production systems and controls were also conducted.
Sixteen engineers from nine certified builder companies as well as numerous Zamil Steel sales staff attended and worked successfully to complete the course requirements. They studied at numerous specialized workshops, and on 21 December 2010, they participated in a comprehensive evaluation test on all the material that was presented during the course. A graduation ceremony, which included certificate and Zamil Builder License ID distribution, was held at the end of the program.
Zamil Steel maintains a network of 54 Certified Builders in 24 countries. Certified Builders are independent contractors trained to work with Zamil Steel PEB products. They function as a valuable extension of Zamil Steel in certain sales areas and are vital to providing the turnkey solutions required by clients.
Zamil Steel provides periodical training for its certified builders. The training programs serve as a portal for mutual communication on industry practices, innovations and developments. In addition, they refresh the builders' technical knowledge of the Zamil Steel building system and help the company to provide solutions for various problems and challenges that builders may encounter, both onsite and throughout the setup and service process.
