Young businessmen forum in Saudi Arabia supported by Zamil Industrial Investment Co.

Zamil Industrial Investment Company (ZIIC), the international manufacturing and fabrication group focused on growth segments of the construction industry, recently co-sponsored the "Young Businessmen Forum" and associated exhibition, held recently in the Saudi capital under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz the Prince of Riyadh. The event was organized by the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
The forum addressed several issues facing young businessmen and ZIIC's sponsorship was also complemented by the participation of its Chief Operating Officer, Abdulla M. Al Zamil, who shared with the audience his insight on family businesses, a key topic discussed during the event.
Abdulla Al Zamil emphasized the important role family businesses play in supporting the national economy and he also highlighted the need to restructure and transfer the family business into a public company in order to guarantee its future continuity under second generation management. He cited the successful example of Zamil Group, which by establishing ZIIC in July 1998 became the first family business in the industrial sector to go public.
ZIIC was also presented with an award from HRH Prince Salman at a ceremony honoring event sponsors. The award was received by Dr. Abdulrahman A. Al Zamil, Chairman of ZIIC.
