Zamil Steel Announces Strong Interest for Its Pre-Engineered Building Solutions in Europe.

Zamil Steel's Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) Business Unit has announced that the outcome of its first ever participation in BATIMAT - Europe's largest international building exhibition - has surpassed expectations with more than 200 businesses showing serious interest in the PEB solutions of the Saudi Arabian entity.

"As the only Saudi Arabian participant in this six-day event at the Paris Expo in France, BATIMAT provided the perfect opportunity to highlight our credentials as a global leader in manufacturing pre-engineered steel buildings and to showcase our leading solutions to visitors to our stand who represented 34 countries on five continents," said Mr. Tony Fata, Zamil Steel Area Manager, Spain.

The Pre-Engineered Buildings Unit is the largest and oldest of Zamil Steel's business units. It designs, fabricates and supplies steel buildings for low rise use as commercial, industrial, agricultural and military premises. Zamil Steel offers its solutions and services through a network of 50 sales offices, 59 certified builders, 27 agents and distributors and 3 factories located in more than 70 countries worldwide, positioning the company as the leading and largest exporter of steel buildings in the world.

"The interest in our pre-engineered building solutions has been so strong that we are seriously considering expanding our exhibition presence in Europe, in particular to international construction events in Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom. Of course, we also look forward to having a much larger presence at the next BATIMAT event, which will take place in 2005," added Mr. Fata.

Zamil Steel has been actively promoting its buildings in Europe for the past five years and is committed to expanding its presence in new European markets as it prepares to open two new offices in Moscow and Bucharest before the end of the year.
