Zamil Steel Construction Company (ZSCC) has recently been awarded a contract by China Railway 18TH Bureau Group Co. Ltd. for the supply of various steel structures for the King Salman Energy Park (SPARK), which is operated by Saudi Aramco and located in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia.
The scope of the contract includes the supply and erection of 480 metric tons of steel structures, as well as more than 5,500 square meters of custom-fabricated metal decks and more than 1,000 square meters of roof and wall sandwich panels for the Administration Office Building at SPARK.
The administration building was designed using the ConXtech system, which allows efficient and precise structural steel fabrication, a simplified steel design, improved site safety, easy future expansion, and an approximately 50% reduction in the time it will take to erect the steel. Zamil Industrial brought this new American modular system to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the company has a specialized factory in Dammam to produce steel structures using the ConXtech system.
